I am running one of the K6-2 3D 300 CpU's now on a FIC V503+ Board and it's
great. Can hardly wait for the DirectX6 to be released, (should be in July
sometime). I would go for the K6-2 since you can run the 100 mhz
Bus.(legit).....

I was running this CPU on a Shuttle 591p before, but returned it for the FIC
instead. Shuttle was very unstable at 100mhz bus.

I don't see where you get the $230 difference. Maybe some for the PC100
memory, or an AGP card.? I can put this board and CPU together w/64 megs
PC100 ram in the range of $350-$400 total.....
