If I remember right that mobo uses the VIA chipset so it depends on which
version you have

VIA VxD v. 2.6 remedies i740 problems on MVP3-based motherboards

I also run a A50 on my Soyo 5EHM mobo and it does run fine. Not the fastest
but a good low ender.
