Hi David,

I would tend to disagree with you on this one.

I have a Pentium III 850Mhz laptop running Me without any of these problems.
I also have a Pentium IV 3.0Ghz running Me without any of these problems.

 From the sounds of things, I would first suspect a heat problem.  Perhaps
the motherboard is slightly
cracked and when it heats up, the traces separate causing the lockup.  Or,
the CPU just stops when
it heats up.

So, it's now back to Floyd to say what his system is comprised of and
wether or not he can do any temperature monitoring.
