Hi, I have just bought an 80 gig hard drive, ATA 100, 7200 rpm. I =
already have a 30 gig hard drive ATA 66, 5400 rpm.

My question is, is it possible to keep my OS (XP Pro) still installed =
and running on the new hard drive and use the new one for everything =
else? I have heard that the new one will slow down to the old one's =
speed, other people say that newer motherboards cover this problem.

I also, have a cdrom & a burner, what would the best way to set all this =
up for optimal performance?

My system is a celeron 850 on an AOpen motherboard with 640 meg ram.

Thanks in advance

Have a nice day
