Hi,
I have a Sony Supressa CDRW and I'm really happy with it.  I haven't made a
bad disk yet. I installed as the master on the secondary IDE controller.  I
have read that it is better to keep CDRWs on the secondary IDE controller so
that it doesn't slow down your hard drive. After setting the jumpers on the
drive to master or slave, you have to plug in the IDE cable, the power
connector and the sound cable has to connect from the CDRW to your sound
card. I hope this helps
