My 486DX2-66 mobo started not keeping time when powered off so I replaced
the battery.
After a few days this battery also started to fail to keep the time and
date. This would lead
me to believe that the recharging portion of the mobo is bad. I have some
electronics experience
so could someone please help in locating the problem and hopefully fixing
this in some step
by step procedures?

tia....

Winston
