Bill-how about trying a Hayes modem driver and see if that works.They are
standard modem drivers and may work.-daryl

drivers, yet they keep telling me things to try. I'm experienced
in
installation, etc. as I run a business, but they are hesitating
on sending
the restore CD. The modem is "Compaq Presario 336 DF 56K."
