I did a search for "hard disk data recovery" and came up with many sites on
the subject. Worst case is having a professional firm do the recovery which
is relatively expensive. If the data is for a business or critical personal
data, it is probably worth the cost. The search produced many data recovery
firms. Or you can try data recovery (albeit somewhat limited) yourself. Here
is one site that looks promising for DIY data recovery
http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1139.

I hope this helps.

My hard disk recently crashed. I have a lot of data on this drive. Any
possibility of salvaging data from it?
