Hi Patrick,

  I've seen the pinouts. From down, pairs 1-3 and 2-6 are OK. The rest are
not. But the guy at the shop told me only these two pairs are used for
Ethernet anyway -- is he correct?

  My multimeter shows a good connection of one wire, so I can't test
pairs.
