With labor costs as high as they are I'd suggest just replacing the drive
yourself as they're dirt-cheap now.  I replaced one a few weeks ago for
just $2.00 (used). Comp USA sells new ones for $14.99.  Once the case is
removed it'll be pretty obvious how to remove the old one and do the
replacement - two cables (power and data) and a few screws.
