  I'll concede that it is a couple of years since I did this last, but I
don't recall ever having difficulty installing the Option Pack after SP6a.
I'm sure I must have successfully installed these components, in this order,
on a number of occasions.
  So I suspect that there is *something* else going on that is interfering
with the Option Pack installation.
