Hi Matthew...

I thought of these already... the only one in the list that I haven't
checked to see if it was running is the Crit-Update Notification. Not
having a Win2K machine handy, does Win2K have the same msconfig as Win98
(able to get to the startup tab)? They are accountants, and have been
installing loads of Tax software that may be trying to auto-update. Being
P2P, is there a way to check where a particular machine is at on the net
(as in WinGate or similar program)?
