I ran into a problem on an older (P166) computer with Windows 98SE. The
Win98SE is a clean install with no application software yet installed.
When I add a USB card, the system detects the new hardware properly, but
when it tries to add the driver, I hangs. I tried several time to get it
installed, but no luck. The same card installed on a very similar P120
system with no such problems. I can't finish the boot when the board is
in place because Win98 insists on adding the drivers and we are back to
the lockup again. Should I assign specific IRQs to the PCI slot in BIOS?
There is a Diamond Stealth 64 PCI video, and an ISA Microsoft sound
board in it. Any suggestions?

Peter
