My old video card isn't up to some of the newer games, so I'd like to replace it. Can anyone help me determine a
decent card that will work with my system? What factors determine which cards will work with a particular machine?

What specs do you need to help me with this?
Here are some - please let me know if you need more:

1 GHz AMD Athlon
RAM:         128 MB sdram (168 pin unbuffered dimm)
Video card: 16MB nVidia TNT Vanta
