Chan,
Are you asking if
A. you are running ATA 66 or 100?
B. Are you asking what the difference in performance should be?

A. when you boot up, your bios should show your hdd as UDMA or ATA xx.
B. Go to www.anandtech.com Go to hardware in the forum sections. You
will find links or mention of software to measure performance.

In short, you will find little noticeable difference in short burst uses.
You should see a small difference between 66 and 100 in long transfer of
data, +600Mb. That is if your hdd is 7200rpm.
AtA33 is a big difference to 66 and 100.
Again the most improved performance is if you have the UDMA 66 or 100
80conductor cable with a drive at 7200rpm.
