        Actually you do not NEED an access point, you can use two "normal" wireless
cards in ad-hoc mode which allows them to communicate directly with each
other. However, contrary to what I said I recommend getting an access point.
The reason is I tried to go the "ad-hoc" route and it was VERY difficult to
get going, to save time I just bought an AP. TTYL
