I ALWAYS buy PC100 sdram. Except for the occasional P-III,
all my desktops are celerons on LX or EX chipset boards and are
using PC100 ram because the price is right. Those systems that
shipped to me with 32 meg of PC66 ram now have 96 meg total,
after I added a 64 meg PC100 sdram. Although I have a variety
of motherboard makes, I have never had to do anything special, just
open the case and snap in the new sdram, close the case and turn
it on.

Hello all,
Still haven't resolved a memory usage issue. If you currently are
using 66MHZ memory (64 mb sdram, 168pin dimm) in an LX mobo 333mhz P-11 and
plan on purchasing additional memory, why couldn't you buy PC100 type, which
is the type of the future and is actually cheaper and more readily
available, instead of the older PC66 type.
