Hi,

I bought a used Toshiba Satellite 4 years ago to bring to China with me. After about 6 months it started turning itself on after I had shut it down. And I'd have to shut it down again. Sometimes it would start up all by itself in the middle of the night. I took it to a Toshiba office and they repaired it at quite a cost.

A couple of months ago I reformatted my computer because I had a virus that I couldn't seem to get rid of no matter what I did. But my PC has started turning itself on again when I shut it down. And a couple of times I had 2 or 3 windows open and was working on something when all of a sudden the screen turned blue and the PC shut itself down.

I have a friend coming over tomorrow who's very good at PCs. Is there anything he can do to fix this problem??
