I have ATT DSL in MO. We currently use:

incoming - pop.att.yahoo.com
outgoing - smtp.att.yahoo.com

They changed them about a year ago.

If one strictly avoids having ATT and/or Yahoo software on one's pc, numerous
headaches can be avoided. You should be able to do pretty much anything you
want with just the above server specs.
