Hi,  try booting into safe mode and you should get 2 accounts. Administrator
and user ( whatever the account is called ). Then log on the Administrator
account with your original p/word then go to control panel, accounts, user
account, ( only one will appear if you have a single user ) Delete password.
Then you can reinstate your original password. hope this helps
