Hi Vince,

I would imagine that if you can burn CD's now, that you could burn CD's
just fine with the new drive even though it states 850Mhz minimum
requirements, especially if you use the same SW you use now. However,
authoring and making DVD movies may prove more of a challenge. Depending on
the software, even if it would "work" you may find it so slow that it is
useless to you anyway. I have a 3.2Ghz P4, and authoring and burning DVD's
is still too slow for my tastes, I can't even imagine what it would be like
on a 500Mhz P3.
