Randy you can call 1-800- OKCOMPAQ and when asked if you have a case # tell
them 2498. Tell the tech once you get one that the problem is not fixed and you
need to have a supervisor extend the warranty, they can do that.

You can also open your system up and disconnect the sleep button from the
motherboard. Disable APM in CMOS and in Windows and use the swithc in the back
to turn your computer off when your done.
