To avoid a long e-mail response, go to www.google.com and search for HP laserjet 3500.  You will get a lot of detailed information about it. You can print photos from a color laserjet, and yes you can get multiple colors.The HP 1500 and 2500 series are for SOHO users.  Do a google search for both and get information and reviews.
