Besides the obvious, My XP Pro OS will not let me uninstall this AV. I get an internal error 1715 message and mfldr.dll missing. It won't let me repair either, gives the same messages. I e-mailed McAfee, but haven't gotten a response. How can I get rid of it? Anyone know how to stop these errors? I did a google search on mfldr, but didn't find anything directly applicable. I also couldn't find that file on the install disk. McAfee wants me to pay $19.95 to renew my subscription, but I have an $8.00 OEM copy with a year's free updates. Besides, the installed copy is an old OEM that can't be renewed. The new OEM won't install because it can neither remove nor repair the old one. Suggestions?
