the motherboard can recognize 80Gb, not 8Gb?

I can't find the motherboard's name. I look all over, and I can't see it.
It's a I430vx chipset, the bios is an AWARD MODULAR. The bios version:
 4.51PG.

 Any suggestions??!!

Hi Andre,

You don't mention you OS but I'll assume it is not Win95. If you've already
updated your chipset drivers I'd suggest you go to IBM's website and look for
their utility for installing that drive. That will bypass the 8GB limitation
for you.
