You need to be certain of the power needs of the laptops - some 
laptops have reduced voltage AC supplied thru the power supplies 
and some get DC, others simply plug into 120 v and convert it 
internally.  As inefficient as it might be to plug them into an AC 
inverter, that should work for all the laptops.
