Hello,
I currently own a desktop computer (5years old ) hooked up to a cable modem
and a 1 year old laptop wirelessly hooked up via a router to the same cable
modem. The card in the laptop is integrated . I am thinking of doing away
with my desktop and buying another laptop. I want the 2nd laptop to also
be wirelessly connected to the cable modem via the router, because I want
to do away with my computer desk. Can I do this? If so what do I need in
the 2nd laptop? Can I buy an 802.11 wireless card and use it in one of the
pcmcia slots?. Do I just put it in and it automatically picks up the
router signal? Is it that easy? Also if I do that, how do I print??????
Be gentle and dumb down your answer please!! Thank you.

Becky Buehrer
