I have replaced a 28.8 EISA modem with a 56 PCI modem (Taicom w/Rockwell
chipset & V.90). On insertion to the motherboard (PC Partner) the computer
starts up. On shutting down the auto turn off (soft switch) no longer works.
Is there a simple solution?
