Hello all, hope you have some ideas why my downloads from mail and other
servers have suddenly dropped to a few bytes/sec from a typical 2000
bytes per sec. This happens about 80 % of the time. It sometimes
starts out ok and then slows dramatically or stops. Have tried
unsuccessfully all the utilities that seemed even remotely appropriate
in Norton 2000 System Works. Can't define the problem so have not been
able to solve it. Another computer on the same phone line and isp
(concentric) works fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Dell P133 LM ST notebook
40 Meg RAM resources available typically 70%
Win 95, IE 5.0
Outlook Express
 Megahertz 3CCM 156 56k Global Modem

 thanks bob
