I have a sony dvd/cd rewritable drive unit model dw-d22a. I have it run to my dell c840 laptop with windows xp pro as an external hardrive with a usb port. I cannot get it to write to the drive as cd or dvd. when i try to record on it a message comes up with : "windows encountered a problem when trying to copy this file". What are the solutions to this delimma? I have attempted to find a new driver but cannot locate one on the web. Thanks.
