I sent this message to the PCSOFT list and it was rejected as being
hardware related.  I think it a software (W98) issue, but here goes.

My wife's computer has 512 meg RAM installed.  It shows correctly in the
BIOS and in DOS.  However, in Windows System Properties, it shows as 573
meg RAM.

I have seen systems where it showed too low (I know how to fix that one),
but this is the only one I have seen that shows too much.  It does not seem
to affect performance.
