Do the symptoms persist if you run your cpu at it's designated speed?
Overclocking is the likely culprit.  While most of the time, it causes
problems in POSTING or frequent blue-screens, I have seen it cause many
other things...

My system is a IBM clone, 333 celeron o/c to 417, Abit BH6 m/b, 64
meg memory, 6.4 seagate harddrive, cd rom, Diamond AGP video card..as
of late I have had trouble whenever, I am asked if I want to re-start
Windows..the system does not re-boot, additionally the re-set button
does not function. What can the problem  be ?
