Hello,
You have Windows Messaging active on your computer. You need to go to
"Control Panel", "Administrative tools", "Services". On the right side of
that window will be a list of the "services" and their status. Find
"Messenger", double click it, in the dialogue box, click on "Stop" and
change "Startup Type" to disabled.

"Messenger" was designed for sending messages across your Windows network,
but someone figured out how to access this "port" from the internet. If you
still need a way to communicate across a network, there are many programs
available. For my home network(so I can talk with my wife...??) I use one
called "Yak". You can get it here....

If you don't need network messaging, then just turn it off and forget about
it.........which seems to be what most are doing....

Subject: [PCBUILD] Pop Up ad

In recent days I have seen ads popping up while Iam on the internet playing
games or even doing paperwork on my own.
These ads tell me that my system is insecure and if I go to their web page
they will fix that for a fee.
I have DSL (Computer is on all the time) , Norton Internet Securyty and
Ad-ware to detect spyware . It detects spyware I delete what it found but
the ads does not stop.
I will appreciate any help on this matter.
