Hi, I hope to use this list properly and am asking for help.  This is my first posting, so forgive me if the format is incorrect.

I have MS XP Version 2002.  Suddenly my media player does not work.  I will click on a movie and it will make a sound (two piano keys) that indicates usually I need to make a choice or it is reporting something.  There is, however, no text box to read and the program does not run.

Can you help?
