Bob,

Using a program like Spybot will let you modify many things, including the
configured program startup. I had thought msconfig was available in windows
200 though... Hmmm I will have to check on that...

Quick answer is SpyBot - found at the following URL.

http://www.safer-networking.org/

It is freeware and probably the best Spyware detector on the net right
now...

How do you change the programs that run ;when you start windows 2000? In
Win98, it was using msconfig but that function is not present in 2000. Can
someone help as I want to minimize the programs loading at startup. Thanks
