Hey all,

My wife and I have a small annoying problem.
We have the same exact hardware.

Specs.

Win XP Pro Svc. Pk 2 up to date as of 2-17-07
Custom Build
1-gig Ram
2.4ghz Intel Cpu
Geforce 4 w/128meg ram

It seems that when we reboot some of the system tray icons (bottom
right corner) don't show up!
The icons that don't show up are actually running as I check for the
processes that are running and everything is running normal like.
It's just the icons of some just don't show for some reason.
Sometimes it can take several reboots to get everything to show up,
which I think is a waste.
It sometimes gets real annoying because some of the icons we use to
access (right click on them) the programs with. So it forces me to go
find the folder and access them that way. So if someone can suggest
something it would be nice so I can get access to these programs from
the system tray.

I have tried several things like using Tweakui to repair icons, tried
several 3rd party software to organize startup programs but to no avail.
It seems to be a glitch in XP or maybe an update is causing the
problem. This has been going on for quite a while, to the point I
just live with it.
But my wife is having the same problem and she gets more annoyed than
I do. The wife runs a lot of different software than I do, so I'm
confused because if we ran the same exact software than I would more
likely blame a third party program. At this point I've ran out of
patience and idea's.

So if anyone has any ideas please let me know!

Thanks

Brad Feuerhelm
