To boot NT, Win2k or XP requires that an appropriate boot loader be
installed. If you install Windows 98 after an NT/2k/XP install, you will
be replacing the needed boot loader. For multi-boot setup, you should
always install the most advanced system last - i.e. NT, Win2k, XP in
that order.

It may be that you need to do it the other way round, ie. install Win98
first and then install NT/2000. Hop this helps.
