i have a P166 that has been acting up recently (blue death screens) and
finally ended up booting to the Windows logo and freezing.  the odd part is
that the windows logo is in psychedelic colors!  i switched the video card
with a working card and still have the same problem. the other thing that is
odd is that the Device Manager shows every device repeated 3 or 4 times.
i've seen the repetition problem before, but haven't run into the
psychedelic logo screen.  any thoughts?  this machine worked flawlessly for
over a year until these recent problems.
