RE: Freeze on boot.

I think it is only fair to fill you in on my solution to this problem.  It
was a software problem and not the video card.  In upgrading my system, I
did not scrupulously [manually] remove all the old S3-Virge [video card]
software.  There were conflicts on booting as multiple [and conflicting]
dll's and .drv's were called.  Removing them all [/sys files, /inf files,
etc..] and a registry check solved the problem.
