Be careful if you decide to format the card. If the card is for camera use, only delete files and format it in the camera. I have a couple cards that were formatted in a pc that will not work in a camera because the format is different. They can sometimes be fixed with a hex editor, but it is a pain. Have you tried it in a camera?

Subject: [PCBUILD] MIcro Card

Dear Listers,

I just bought a new Sandisk 4GB micro card on Ebay. I get an error message
when I put it in my card reader:

"L :\is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of an
I/O device error."

I thought maybe it needs to be formatted. But I've never had to format a
micro card before.

Running XP2
