Sorry to hear that, Acer CD drives (include all CDROM CDRW ...) are terrible
on quality.  We stopped any Acer drives for the reason (so many returns),
since your drive is new, just get it refund. At least, Aopen is better than
Acer, or get Richo, Sony, they are your best deal.
