Hi,

Does the board in question have USB built in?  Did you Check the BIOS and
try and disable it?
Did you try a different chipset USB card?  Is it a USB1.1 or USB 2.0 card?
 What chipset is on the card?

Did you try swapping the sound cards and video cards between the two boards
and try to narrow down the item causing the conflict?  Sometimes just
placing the card in a different PCI slot may clear up problems like this.

Unfortunatley not everything in the market place, plays well together.

Actually, it is surprising that things work as well as they do, with all
the different software and hardware there is out there.
