I am about to buy a new computer and I would like some recommendations for a
good graphics card. I am looking for very good 2D graphics. (Not 3D as I am
not into computer gaming!)

I will use the computer for:

- office applications
- photos / imaging
- home analogue video editing (some day...)
- watching TV in a window (possibly...)

More info:

- I will be running Windows 2000 (or possibly XP).
- Screen resolution will be 1152 x 864 in 32-bit colour and 85 Hz refresh
rate, for now.
- In the future I would like to use 1600 x 1024.
- I am planning to buy a video editing board with analogue video input and
output. (So I do not necessarily need "TV-out" on the graphics board.)
- A DVI interface on the graphics board would be good, but it is not a must,
as I am not going to buy a screen with DVI this time.

Grateful for advice,
Goran Halfvarson, Sweden
