The best thing to do is go to the Maxtor WEB site and look up the exact model
numbers and drill down to the jumper settings.
I have one drive (just itself) that can be set up as a Master with a number of
DIFFERENT jumper combinations. (3 or 4)

Either that or post the drive model numbers here and state which will be master
and which slave.
