I have recently encountered a problem with this printer.
If I print in the default color(black) the document is printed with streaks
running throughout, as if I were crossing out words. If I change the color
and leave the font the same the document is printed perfectly. I have
followed the maintenance tips on the HP site, but come up with the same
results.

Does anyone have any idea how I might fix this (without buying a new
printer)
