   Under (my) odd configurations, I have found that has always
been the case.  I have problems with FDISK mis-identifying
the volume labels or drive names.  I am VERY careful to
document what a drive is, and ID it MYSELF rather than
let FDISK tell me...  I use Win95a with (maybe about)
14 "system" patches or so...  This might have been fixed
by now.  I "do it my way" still... I could not wait for MS...
