There are a few boards around which have provisions for SIMMs, but
you cannot run them at 100 MHz. Those boards usually support 66
MHz buses in addition to 100 MHz. The EDO RAMs might work at an
odd bus speed (75 or 83 MHz) with extra waitstates, but that makes
for a really slow system.

To run at 100MHz you must have 8nS SDRAM memory. That's "official"
PC-100, not 100MHz SDRAM which uses 10nS chips. The latter works
at 95 MHz.
