I had a similar problem using a Linksys card, an external DSL modem and a
DSL "router". After a few minutes surfing my PC would appear to have DNS
problems for a few minutes at a time, but my wife's PC, also Win98 and
connected to the same DSL Router had no problems at all. I finally wiped my
HDD, did a clean install of Win98 and it's been fine since. I'm not sure
why. I was not using ICS.
