If you do it in safe way, it's pretty safe. I always do this: Make both Harddisk
master, xcopy richkey from C: to D:, take out old harddisk, make the new harddisk
c: (change the connector to IDE1). This hasn't failed once since I tersffer
Harddisk for upgrade manytimes.
