Dear Listers,

I've had good experiences with Western Digital, from installations to
troubleshooting to warranty replacements.  Performance has been good also.  I
notice significant price differences between Maxtor and Western Digital for
similar drives, ie. capacity, rpm, seek times etc.

My only real experience has been with Western Digital.  I wonder what some of
your experiences have been with these two brands.  Anyone prefer one over the
other?  why?
